Boone, Colorado - Accused of cruelty in January 2012 after 31 dogs, a llama, a cat, and more than 30 horses, mules and donkeys were removed from her property. Three horses were found dead.
Reports state the animals were dehydrated and starving, living in deplorable conditions.
Harris was arrested again five weeks later when more dead horses were discovered on her and her neighbor's properties.
Harris was convicted in June 2014 of seven counts of aggravated animal cruelty and 15 counts of animal cruelty. She was sentenced to three years in prison,
Reports state that Harris was convicted of cruelty on two prior occasions: In 2007 after 19 horses were seized from her property, and in 2009 when two neglected dogs were seized.
